The International Saga Conference is held every three years and attended by scholars and students from all over the world. The first conference was held in Edinburgh in 1971, but since then it has been held at many different locations, from Akureyri, Iceland (1994) to Sydney, Australia (2000). An overview of earlier Saga Conferences along with a wealth of materials from these conferences can be found at The International Saga Conference Archive.
